The pronunciation tool isn’t speaking. What should I check?
The tool uses the voices built into your browser and device. Make sure your volume is up and the tab isn’t muted, then try Chrome or Edge, which include the widest choice of English voices. On phones, check that a text-to-speech engine is installed in your system settings.
Practice mode doesn’t hear me. How do I fix it?
Speaking practice needs microphone permission and works in Chrome, Edge and Safari. Click the padlock next to the address bar, allow the microphone, reload the page and try again in a quiet room.
I found a mistake in a guide. Can I report it?
Yes, please do. Tell us the page address and what looks wrong, and we’ll check it and update the guide. Accurate lessons matter to everyone learning English.
Can I suggest a topic or a new feature?
We love suggestions. Many of our guides started as questions from learners and teachers. Tell us which words, sounds or grammar points you’d like explained next.
I need help with the Pronunciation App for Android.
Include your phone model and Android version, and describe what happened. Screenshots help us solve problems much faster.
Do you work with schools, teachers or partners?
Yes. Teachers are welcome to use the tool in class for free. For partnerships, advertising or content collaboration, send us a short description of your idea.
